We recognize Heart Garden day in our schools.
We plant heart gardens in memory of children lost to the residential school system, to honour residential school survivors and their families, and support the legacy of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC).
Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the Honourable Justice Murray Sinclair once said, “Education got us into this mess and education will get us out of it.”
We can all do better. We all have a part to play in reconciliation.
