Good morning Fort McMurray Catholic Schools families,
As we complete the 2020/21 school year we reach out to say thank you. Thank you for your grace, compassion and understanding as we worked to navigate this year together. The flexibility shown by our students, families, and staff has been awe inspiring.
When we sit back and reflect upon the past 16 months we are filled with gratitude and pride as we think of the valleys and peaks. The strength and resiliency shown by all is a staple of our community.
A special thank you to our staff for their incredible dedication this year. They repeatedly changed their vocation and work to reflect an ever changing environment. To think in May our Division was averaging over 1700 Google Meets a day, and about 4800 students and staff were logged in daily- this shows our commitment to learning remained strong.
But we also recognize that everyone is very tired. We pray you take this summer to rest, recharge, spend time with those you love, and take a break!
