Good afternoon Fort McMurray Catholic School families,
We hope you have had a wonderful and rejuvenating Christmas break. There were so many ‘normal’ things missing from this past year- we pray you were able to find ways to connect with family and friends and take pause to remember the reasons we celebrate Christmas.
This week we are back to school! As we are sure you are already aware, back to school this week will look very different than normal for many. We wish to share these reminders with you today.
Early Entry Program- Grade 6:
- Off-site Instruction will occur from January 5-8, 2021
- Return to in class instruction on January 11
Grades 7-12:
- Off-site Instruction will occur from January 4-8, 2021
- Return to in class instruction on January 11
Important to note:
- Specialized Programs will continue in class January 5-8th, 2021. (This includes ILP and Vocational Education programs)
- No changes for our Virtual Learning Academy and Sacred Heart Outreach program
- Out of School Care will provide full day programming from Monday to Friday (January 4-8, 2021) for children already registered in the program

We continue to remind families to monitor for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 using the Alberta Health Screening Questionnaire. Please remember to complete the checklist each day. If you or a member of your family has any of the symptoms of illness listed, please fill out the online Alberta Health Services COVID-19 self-assessment or call Health Link at 811.
